The National park of Cajas is located in Azuay province. This place has between 130-150 an extensive lakes under the mountaibns. The people can see wildlife for example: rabbits, foxes, birds, etc. Cajas is about 1800 metres above the sea level. You will be in the best camping and fishing areas. In cajas there is a church Q"Virgen del Cajas". Near to the park only there are restaurants with the most welcoming and friendly local people. The typical dishes are : chuchucaras, fish fried, mote pillo, etc. This place is a cheap and beatiful.

Finally, you should "El Cajas" in summer. In this season it is easy see beatiful landscapes. this place is quit and peaceful.
