Located in the Tungurahua Province, in the middle of Ecuador, Baños is one of the most populous cities in the Province and the major tourist centre, with about 20.000 inhabitants.

As the main attraction of the city is the Tungurahua volcano, people come here to enjoy this nature's show. Also, hot pools of mineral water are famous due its curative properties.
